1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Own Use Love ("the Service"), operated by Bricolab ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Own Use Love provides a platform for users to create and manage affiliate product storefronts. The Service includes hosting, storefront customization, blog functionality, and related features for a monthly subscription fee.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial. No payment method is required to start it.
If no payment method has been added by the end of the trial, your storefront is taken offline until you subscribe. Your content is not deleted.
After the trial, the Service costs $5 per month, billed monthly. If you add a payment method during the trial, the first charge is made when the trial ends.
Payment is processed through Stripe.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
No refunds are provided for partial months.
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Your storefront stays live until the end of the period you have paid for.
If a payment fails, your storefront stays live while our payment processor retries the charge, for up to about two weeks. If the payment still cannot be collected, your subscription is canceled and your storefront goes offline. Your content is not deleted, and subscribing again brings it back.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Promote or sell illegal products or services
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Distribute malware or engage in phishing
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination:

Hate speech, discrimination, or content promoting violence against any individual or group
Adult or sexually explicit content
Content promoting illegal activities or substances
Fraudulent or deceptive content
Content that violates the rights of others
Spam or misleading affiliate marketing practices

7. Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any storefront at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms of Service
Posting prohibited content
Engaging in activities that harm the Service or other users
Non-payment of subscription fees
Any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service or its users

We are not obligated to provide a reason for termination. No refunds will be issued for terminations due to violations.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and display your content. We retain all rights to the Service itself, including its design, features, and branding.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

10. Affiliate Disclosures

You are responsible for complying with FTC guidelines and other applicable laws regarding affiliate marketing disclosures. Your storefront must clearly disclose that you may earn commissions from purchases made through your links.

11. Your Links Stay Yours

The affiliate links on your storefront are yours, and so is every commission they earn. We promise that:

We never replace, modify or add to the links you enter. The only change we ever make is adding “https://” to a link that you entered without it.
Every visitor is sent straight to the address you entered. We don’t route clicks through our own servers, and every visitor gets the same links.
We have no affiliate accounts of our own, and we take no share of your earnings. The Service’s only income is your subscription.

If a link breaks these Terms (for example, it leads to malware or prohibited content), we may remove it or take your storefront offline, as described in sections 6 and 7. We will never substitute a link of our own.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service.

13. Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
